Well done to all the Taunton AC athletes who took part in the English Schools Championships held at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham, at the weekend.

 

Maya Jones was 7th in the Junior Girls' high jump final and Lydia Smith was 5th in the long jump.  In the Inter Girls Lucy Stennet ran in the heats of the 300m and Ellie Carrow was 13th in the triple jump.

 

Oscar Lee ran in the heats of the Junior Boys' 1500m, with Oliver D'Rozario running the 80m hurdles, whilst in the Senior Boys Matt Alvarez was 7th in the 200m and Dan Wilde 7th in the 400m hurdles.

 

Representing Devon in the Senior Girls' javelin, Maia Dart came 4th with a throw of 41.94.
